Crafting Community with Social Media Content for The Gathering Spot 

My work for the Gathering Spot began in March 2022. I was tasked to revamp our social channels, encourage people to apply for membership, and create highly shareable content. We had a ton of content to work with, from recorded fireside chat conversations to photos dating back to 2018. I reviewed and revamped older content, and created new videos and reels that educated, entertained, and inspired.

With these efforts, we reached the highest engagement rate the company had seen in all of 6 years of operation and reached over 1M accounts with the combination of paid media and organic content strategies

What I was responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining an original content strategy to implement across the all Gathering Spot Locations (Atlanta, D.C., Los Angeles, NYC, Detroit, Charlotte, Houston)

  • Produce original content for the brand to improve membership application rates

  • Produce monthly emails for list of over 125,000 potential members

  • Organize content team of videographers, photographers in all locations to generate content in different markets. 

  • Lead social strategy for branded partnership activations like Delta x Coca-Cola, and Grey Goose for The Connection 2.0 campaign.

  • Managing Youtube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook channels 

  • Monitor and report trending engagement to leadership

The Results:

  • Reached the highest engagement rate the company had seen in all of 6 years of operation and reached >1M accounts with the combination of paid media and organic content strategies

  • Improved membership experience with past and upcoming events 

  • Gained 37,000 followers through highly shareable content in first 4 months of contract
